Corinthian Correspondence Cards - Initials

At American Stationery, we use many types of printing processes, depending on the product you select.

Printing Process:

Thermography - The process involves heat that joins ink and a resin-like powder together. The fusion of the materials results in the appearance of "raised" letters. This printing process is one of the most popular choice for invitations, because of its value and quality of appearance. This is the most affordable print process if you are looking for classic, elegant "raised" printing.

Digital - In digital printing, an image is sent directly to the printer using digital files such as PDFs and those from graphics software such as Illustrator and InDesign. Digital printing is most efficient and cost effective when running small quantities, and the result are beautiful, high quality prints.

Letterpress - Letterpress continues to be one of the hottest trends in stationery. It's been around for hundreds and hundreds of years. Letterpress is an ancient printing technique that involves printing words or designs with ink while simultaneously debossing the image into thick, soft paper. The letterpress look is elegant, stylish, high-end and nothing short of stunning.

Engraving - The paper is placed on the press face down above the inked plate. It is then printed by pressure coming down on the back of the sheet while the front of the sheet meets with the plate. This "sandwich" effect creates the raised lettering and bruise on the back of the printed paper that are both classic features of engraver.

Foil Stamping - Printing process that fuses foil to paper. A thin layer of foil is pressed between a piece of paper and a heated die. The image on the die cuts and heats the foil, binding it to the paper. You might be thinking of mylar ballons when you think of the word "foil". But don't be fooled. You can find many matte-ink colors such as white or cream, which produces a gorgeous invitation.

Quantities will vary according to each product, but in most cases quantities will refer to how many pieces are in 1 set or box. So for example, when you see a quantity of "1 = $34.95", it means you will receive 1 box of cards for $34.95.

Small Enclosure Card: 4.25"x4.50"

This card is typically used as a Reception Card, Ceremony Card, Gift Registry or At-Home Card, or for any "simple" information you might be trying to deliver to your guests.

RSVP card w/ envelope: 4.25"x5.50"

RSVP is derived from the French phrase, repondez s'il vous plait, meaning "respond if you please." It is a polite way of requesting a response to the invitation. It allows you to have an accurate guest count and can even help with allowing your guests to choose meal options, or any other information you will require in planning your reception.Mygatsby also nclude your name and return address printed on the envelope (or postcard for our smaller invitations) to make it easier for invited guests to respond. Traditionally, the sender provides postage, to make it easier for your guests to respond.

Large Enclosure Card: 4.25"x6.50"

This card is typically used as a Directions Card, Accommodations Card, or any additional detailed information you might be trying to deliver to your guests.

Additional Matching Accessories

For flat printing, all ink color choices are included in the cost of your item. There are no additional charges.

For thermgraphy and letterpress ink colors, the ink color you choose is included in the price of your order. If you would like to choose a second color for an accessory item (such as wine ink for your card, and black ink for your envelopes), there is an additional charge (see additional charges below).

Pricing for each additional ink color is as follows:

1st ink: No charge. Included in price.
2nd ink: $30.00 one time charge. This same ink color may be used across all of your invitation ensemble pieces.

For an additional fee of $6 you can get your stationery gift wrapped. Your gift message is included on an attractive gift card.

Elegant and perfect for the man in your life Review by Initial card stock

A lot of women tend to buy personalized stationery. But I have
rarely found a product that is masculine enough for the man in my life, yet is elegant and classy. I have found it! My husband
is a doctor, but, unlike most physicians, he has beautiful handwriting, so I have always tried to get him stationery that he can use for personal correspondence. With the use of so much email, the art of letter writing seems to have disappeared. But this card stock, with his initials, is strong and just big enough to be used when sending personal correspondence. The double lettering is quite stylish. My husband has used this stationery for years and it was my first choice to order as a gift for our son-in-law. Unfortunately, the quality of the paper stock as well as the printing has declined since I last ordered for my husband. The paper is much thinner (guess you now have to pay for the previously standard better paper) and the printing is not as crisp. I was a little embarrassed to present this order as a gift. I have ordered from American Stationery before and have found them to deliver an excellent product accurately and on-time. This was no exception. I ordered 5 sets of these note-cards in a variety of stock and ink colors; each set had different initials and there were no errors. I am giving them as Christmas Gifts to friends and family.

I am pleased to report that the entire order arrived rapidly and packed in a single shipping carton. Each card set is individually wrapped in tissue within its own sturdy gift box and nothing was bent or crushed. I'll be able to wrap, tag and mail these gifts well before the holidays.
