As the years go by it seems like the holidays approach us faster and faster.  I don’t know what it is, the fact that we are getting older and in turn days go by faster? That we are all so busy and thus the holidays really do sneak up on us? Or that stores feel the need to set up a Jack o ‘ lantern display parallel to an inflatable Rudolph? Whatever the case may be, please don’t blink now; we’ll all be carving a turkey tomorrow!

One of the conveniences of living in this modern day and age is that you don’t have to get out in the cold weather to shop. You need not encounter the unfortunate but very real grouchiness of your fellow man that inevitably occurs at the check out counter. No, you can shop at home in your fuzzy jammies with a glass of wine or cocoa beside you.

Whether this means by mail, telephone, or computer is up to you. But at American Stationery we’ve been offering free catalogs for over 90 years! We’re still at the same brick and mortar building in a small town in America’s heartland. What does that mean? Well it means that you’ll receive friendly customer service, and quality products shipped to you in a timely manner.

Personally I love to look through a catalog and then venture online. Our new website allows you to watch the personalization of an item literally change before your very eyes. For many of our products, you can personalize more than just the name on the note. But, also select the ink color and font style as well. So, allowing you to make all of these changes helps make it uniquely yours.

The website is set up in such a way that you don’t have to worry about missing anything. It walks you through each step and will not let you go any further if you have missed something. Remember we do this every day so it’s typically a breeze for us to help you troubleshoot any problem or question you may have. The visual is in many folks opinion, simply the reason to shop our products online. Those individuals who are very visual will appreciate seeing just what they are going to get. Always be sure to always proofread your order as they are immediately sent to the factory floor once you hit that submit button!

Is the internet just not for you when it comes to placing orders? Don’t worry you are not alone. Many customers prefer to browse online but phone their order in. That’s okay it’s part of why we have real live operators at our factory daily. We can help you place the order via telephone, discuss font styles, ink colors, paper weight and most importantly spell everything back to you! For some folks hearing the names spelled back is the ultimate reassurance. The production and delivery times are the same no matter how the order is placed. So whichever method you prefer, the order will receive the same treatment.

For those of you who would like to mail the order in, that’s fine we still accept orders that way as well. Simply fill the order form out completely and mail it in. Once we receive it, we will look them over to see if anything is left out and give you a call if so. Otherwise it will go into production within a day or so of receiving the order. Please make sure to print legibly and give us a phone number or email address in case any questions arise.

After the order is placed what is there to do? We vote that you sit back and relax. But, catching up with family, building a snow man, or bragging to your friends and family about how all of your holiday shopping is already done sounds good too!
